Why ride with us in 2026?
Here at Bike the UK for MS, every push of a pedal helps raise awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis. Riding with new and old friends, for a shared goal that’s bigger than us, makes our rides the most unique experience. A blended environment of exploring new places, meeting new people and having the time of your life on two wheels!
Now that all our rides of the 2025 season are over, we’re excited to announce what 2026 has in store. From the classic End to End, to Welsh valleys, Scottish highlands and northern coastline, we have a brilliant lineup of rides for you to choose from. This year, we also want you to help us decide on our new September ride!
John O’Groats to Land’s End
Back to our roots!
- 14th – 28th June 2026
- 14 riding days, 1 rest day in Bath
- Miles: 1,020
- Fundraising minimum: £1,530 (£1.50 per mile)

Our longest and original BTUKFMS route is back, going north to south the length of the UK! Starting in the most north-eastern point, John O’Groats, and ending in the most Westerly point of the British Isles. Covering a mighty 1,020 miles, this is a true test, but the ultimate adventure. Ride through the Scottish Highlands down to the Lake District, tackling Kirkstone Pass (from the harder side!), and along the Welsh border.
Cross the River Severn, climb Cheddar Gorge, all before entering the Roman City of Bath for a well deserved rest day. Volunteer with the local MS Society group helping them ride adapted bikes at Odd Down before hitting the road for the final stretch. The latter part of the ride takes you through the spectacular Dartmoor landscape and Cornish terrain at the end when you’re at your fittest. This may be our most challenging route, yet it is the most stunning.
“I signed up before I even knew much about MS. I had a fantastic time, learnt lots from meeting the MS Society groups along the route and hearing their testimonies. This had a meaningful impact on me as meeting with patient advocate groups and those living with long term conditions is now part of my work. The best experience, for an incredible cause.” – Toby Boud, John O’Groats to Land’s End 2021

Help us choose our September Ride!
We’re adding something fresh to the 2026 calendar. We want you to shape our September ride.
We have two routes for you to choose from:
The Way of the Roses (Road)
This is one of the UK’s most popular coast-to-coast rides, running 170 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington. In four days you’ll pass through both the red rose county of Lancashire and white rose county of Yorkshire. Climbing into the well known Yorkshire Dales, where there are gradual hills, then roll through the Vale of York, and finish with the sweeping views of the Yorkshire Wolds. Along the way, discover small towns full of cultural heritage like Settle and Pateley Bridge, the historic city of York, and many quiet country lanes. A classic route through the UK’s northern countryside that’s accessible but still a challenge!

Royal Chilterns Way (Off-road)

The Royal Chilterns Way is Cycling UK’s brand-new long-distance route. This 174 mile loop through the Chiltern Hills blends gravel paths, forest trails, chalk tracks and quiet country lanes. The mixed terrain creates a true challenge with plenty of short and steep climbs to keep things interesting. Starting in the town of Reading, you’ll pedal through royal history at Reading Abbey, the riverside of Henley-on-Thames, and many historic villages with plenty of cafes, pubs and farmshops along the way. It’s a scenic and mixed venture a stone’s throw away from London, something brand new for 2026.
