Accessible Cycling Sessions Are Returning in Spring 2026

We’re pleased to share that our accessible cycling sessions will be returning and expanding in Spring 2026. These sessions are all about creating inclusive opportunities that break down barriers and allow people to enjoy cycling in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Thanks to new funding from Sport England and The National Lottery, we’re able to grow this programme and reach even more people living with MS across the UK.

Expanding the Programme in 2026

Building on the success of our previous sessions, we’ll be expanding our accessible cycling programme to new locations, alongside returning areas. In Spring and Summer 2026, we’re aiming to deliver sessions in:

  • Bath
  • Forest of Dean
  • Swindon
  • Cornwall
  • Portsmouth

While dates and venues are still being finalised, planning is well underway. We’re working closely with local partners, therapy centres, and MS groups to make sure each session is welcoming, well-supported, and tailored to the needs of the local community.

Why We Run These Sessions

For many people living with MS, opportunities to stay active can be limited by symptoms, accessibility, confidence, or lack of suitable equipment. Our accessible cycling sessions are designed to remove those barriers.

These sessions aren’t about performance or distance. They’re about giving people the chance to try adaptive bikes in a safe and supportive environment, enjoy being outdoors, connect with others who understand life with MS, and rediscover confidence, independence, and enjoyment through cycling.

From side-by-side tandems and recumbent trikes to e-bikes and wheelchair-accessible cycles, our sessions offer a wide range of options so participants can find what works best for them.

Highlights from Last Year

In 2025, we ran accessible cycling sessions in the Forest of Dean and Bath bringing together local MS groups, volunteers, and participants for memorable days on the bikes.

The sessions were filled with laughter and a strong sense of community. Participants tried multiple types of adaptive bikes, rode at their own pace, and spent time chatting over food and drinks afterwards, an important social element that many told us meant just as much as the cycling itself.

One participant, in his 80s and living with MS, enjoyed the session so much that he planned to return the very next day for another ride, a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to experience the joy of being on a bike.

The feedback from MS group leaders and participants reinforced just how valuable these sessions are, not only for physical activity, but for building confidence and connecting with other people living with MS.

What’s Coming Next

We’ll be sharing dates, locations, and sign-up details as soon as they’re confirmed. In the meantime, we’d love you to stay connected and help spread the word to anyone who might benefit from these sessions.

Whether you’re living with MS, supporting someone who is, or part of an MS group or organisation, we’re really looking forward to what’s ahead.

If you’re interested in our 2026 sessions, comment below or drop us an email and we’ll make sure you’re the first to hear when details are released.

Keep an eye out for more details and we’ll see you on the bikes soon!
